Flappy Odyssey
Controls: W/S/Up/Down in menus, space/enter to select menu options, space to jump in-game.
Flappy Odyssey is a beginner game project attempting to be a distant cousin of Flappy Bird and it might accomplish that. This is my first real effort at making and finishing a game and it has largely met my expectations. Artistic liberties were taken largely due to lack of talent but to also make it stand apart from others that are more "clones" of Flappy Bird.
Some things are currently non-functional such as difficulty and remapping the jump button, but it does save your settings and high score on Windows. HTML5 version is pretty barebones, scaled to fit, and has the options menu disabled. Try the WIndows version for the full range of features and resolution.
I am considering pursuing controller support and other accessibility options in future updates. Other potential changes include changes during gameplay like when you progress in Flappy Bird, right now it is just a neverending onslaught of small gaps at regular intervals.

Art is by me using Piskel, MS Paint, and the Gamemaker Studio in-game sprite editor.
Music and sound effects are by me using Pxtone.
